Interesting how Mobile01's full size crops show more detail from C901 than from C905, almost as if the C905's sensor was less than 5MP and the camera driver enlarges the photos. Blow up the C901 shots to 8MP and you'll end up with better photos than from the C905. Looks like SE have their version of the megapixel myth buster. Shame though that it will not be available globally...

about the colour rendition i think:

outdoor
red colour = very good
green colour (leafs, grass, etc) = think its c901 worse colour (often gets to paled, especially in macro)
blue colour = often good, but the sky looks sometimes quite weird
yellow = I guess normal saturation

indoor (without flash)
think all colours behaves better,(more stable rendition). the whole result looks slightly thin, but overall good.

indoor with flash
macro (like all xenon) looks a bit bleached, on larger distance the colours pops up good.

well......thats my opinion

edit. that red flower has some pretty insane saturation really cool.

Of course,in iso 200+flash pratically all pictures (normally) will be bleached closely...

Im quite happy with the colours and they seems to be very true. Trees and grass and things like the n82 had problems with the c901 handles better.

But the main thing like i said is that the % of pics who gets good is far greater than my earlier c902. Some shots with c902 became incredible but many pale and rubbish. I feel the focus system better in c901. I could show 100:s of awful c902 pics here but whats the point. Itīs a really good phone also in good light.

ofcourse xenon flash macro is often useless but i almost never take any makro in real life. But i do like the possibility to snap some partypics of people and stuf like that. The things that for me could be really useful.

I wonder whats the sensor being used on C901, perhaps the new sony 5mp exmor cmos that was announced along with the new 12 and 8mp exmors last year.
