Thats realy sad, a petition had to be done just to get an update. Thats something i doubt you'll see having to be done for N8.
Satio is still on Flashlite3.0???
No kinetic scrolling in the browser?
Still no RDS!!?
isnt that a feature SE brought in like years ago?
That list is looking scary, i hope SE can add most of those features and updates.
As for updating to Symbian3 its like deja vu with the P1/G900 when people wanted those to be updated to UIQ3.1,lets hope it happens.

I can't believe your comparing a shit ass phone that came out almost 2 yrs ago to a Satio, honestly. So what if it doesn't come with the up-to-date Symbian OS, but remember the facts; Nokia acquired the S60 before it went open-source, so they're obviously far ahead at knowing how to work with it. Your really not arguing about the hardware issues here your all bragging about the servicing and yes SE does suck at that but they eventually come by baring in mind Nokia holds market share, its a god damn rich company so they're bound to have the best men on the field.

so, i've been playing around with the satio and soon realised, that some symbian essentials are missing or have been portet to the satio badly.
in the end of january PNHT released their tools for romcooking for nokia phones, and from that day i never touched my satio again. the nokia 5800 aka tube is legend yet, nokia gave all symbian2 features to this shit ass phone and there is a really large community of tube lovers out there, every day there's something new and amazing to modd on the tube and it's real fun to do all this with my 5800.
S/// just sold me a phone that was far to expensive and that is not even solving simple tasks that any smartphone should be able to solve, then S/// simple forgot about me and my half baked satio.
now many disappointed satio users are going to sign petitions and email to S/// service, but that's no fun for me, for me it's more fun to play around with cool looking theme effects on my tube.
don't get me wrong, i'm no nokia fanboy i just like symbian s60 and symbian s60 is not good on any S/// mobile.

Like I said SE sucks with their service thus the software sucks for the Satio, but the hardware on the 5800 is no match to Satio's beastly ARM8 and Graphics acceleration. There is a petition taking place to fix this, and yes it's upgradable. But 5800's hardware stops there.

the n8 will have enough (hardware-)power and (software-)control. the camerasensor is the best ever built in a mobilephone, there's hd videorecording and a really good looking aluminium body in 5 colours. there's 3,5mm headphone jack, usb port, 16gb inbuilt harddisc drive, capazitive amoled display with multitouch and pinch-to-zoom...
it looks like this is the phone i wanted when i bought a satio!

why bothered with the new N8,if satio is really good phone? I own nokia n82 with the title best mobile imaging device from tipa awards, i searched almost all kinds of search engines "N82 VS SE 5MP phones" then they gave me the same results all in favor of N82 even in diff search engines,N82 is like satio a camera phone and at same time a smart phone,N82 was released in 2007 3years ago but still it can beat SE's 5MP phones it terms of camera and OS even the phones are the latest ones,so if satio is really a good phone don't bothered about N8, and don't make petition for me its a slap for SE it only proved the SE phones are underdog of nokias

Isn't N82 just an upgraded N73 with titanium casing, I don't get what N8 has to do with N82 because people came up with all sorts of complaints with that phone. Great... another fail phone added to the Satio vs N8 argument.
