How do I set the "EV" I never saw a setting for it in the camera options.

You control the EV values with the dpad right or dpad left to increase or decrease respectively

@ NoroBiik nice shots! thanks for sharing and taking your time to take photos for this thread now we have a complete set of photos which shows the weakness of both Elm and W995.

To the topic starter, so which one will it be? which phone will be the lucky winner?

Still not decided on the winner.

@NoroBiik that Elm plant daytime pic is the clear winner over the w995. The w995 is noisy blurry & has a green tint to the photo(Plank, sorry) Does anyone know where the cheapest place is to find the Hazel online for UK use? I have not seen the Hazel on any UK network

I agree.. Get the Hazel (when you can find one available.)

Check these owners shots from the Flickr photosharing site:

There's no Elm or Hazel shots available yet but the C901 is perhaps the closest example at the moment:

I have taken a lot of nice pictures with my w995, but I have also taken many bad ones. Likewise with my daughters Sony Alfa 200. No camera shoot great pictures every time. It is not all about having the best camera, but more beeing able to create memories. I do not need perfect pictures of buildings, landscapes and so on. I want memories of people I share my life with

Yes of course true same here half the photos I take & put on Esato I don't keep. But I also have had terrible cameras that spoil those memories. I once had such a poor Pentax camera that no matter what I did the pictures were dreadful

3.5mm, premium headset, also come with m2 inside.
For the camera sometimes we just using it for take special moment. If really need camera quality, it better take a cybershot, like C901/5
