not many Sony

phones who produce stunning(natural) Red colour FF0000.
must be the absolute hardest colour for a image sensor to create .
of all Sony

phones i own, only Aino who fix it (really) and of course C905.
nearly all other models have more or less pinkish nuance in it.

Not all the Sonyericsson Models struggling to reproduce red color.. I know very well that k850i, c902 are the victims. But c905, c901 are better.. I dont find this problem with xperia models, They are ok with red.
May be if a phone having purple fringing problem turn the red into pink..

there is a reason why Red is so hard to photograph.
Digital cameras splits and arranges the total visible spectrum of light into the tree primary additive colours Red, Green and Blue (RGB).
So in practice there are three different types of sensors. In order to simulate the human eye, which is more sensitive to the green colour wavelengths than to red or blue, Green sensitive sensors are twice the amount than Red or Blue ones.
small cameras (cellphones, etc) save the image directly as a .JPG file.
Higher range cameras save in RAW format...
This format records exactly the data read by the Red, Green and Blue sensors, without making any operations on them...............there we have a BIG different regarding quality.
