Ive no idea but like julias said why do they go on about minor features for so long as though they invented them. Its to fill in time where otherwise they would fill it with innovation and new features.

They went on for what seemed like forever about the new 8mp camera, about how fast it can take pictures. Im not sure what sensor they use and to be honest im not intereste now, but really apart from party shots (when a xenon flash is more suitable anyway) who needs to take images so quickly with very little time between shots. We're not all going to be shooting pictures of animals in the wild like those wild squirrel images were demonstrated.

I dont understand the whole shot speed comparison versus other phones. If i want fast pictures, i just choose burst mode even if they're in a lower resolution.

I agree the hardware changes are not as many as last year, and I suppose thats why they called it the 4S and not the 5... much like they did with similar spec changes from 3G to 3GS, but I think you're missing the point if you think this is just a camera and processor upgrade.

Apart from combing GSM and CDMA to make it a world phone and upgrading to bluetooth 4.0 its a whole more more about the icloud/music match/Siri/wireless sync and integrating that all into iOS5.

So this year it is much more about usability and software based features than it is about hardware features. The processor power and camera changes just make these all the more slicker to use.

I won't be queing for it but I'll certinaly be online on Friday pre-ordering

Apple are just getting really annoying now with their endless harping on about how amazing and brilliant they are well I'm glad I'm not one of those who gets suckered into their hyperbole.I wasn't impressed with with the original iPhone 4 and I'm certainly not impressed with this new offering either can anyone tell me why they didn't change the hardware design?after all they made a lot of internal changes so fresh design would have made a lot iPhone fans happy.

Unless you are really interested in the camera I don't understand why anyone would want to upgrade from the iphone4.

Had a look at a camera samples on the Apple website, bear in mind these are not "in real life situation" photos, still a lot of noise (maybe not as much as there Arc ) and still nothing mind blowing either compared to the iPhone 4.
