So am i knowing its not really sensible for me to get one. I love the completely featureless front panel of the phone, its stunning when the screen isnt lit up or in use. Very futuristic.
Sadly thats ruined when you turn the phone over, its not as pretty as the S2 rear.

Still disappointed with the 2011 standard specs and 2007 spec camera.

Techradar says the camera is good:
"The camera quality on the phone is also immense - given it's 'only' got a 5MP camera you could be forgiven for thinking it might offer a poor snapping experience, but thankfully that's not the case"

The 5 meg camera on the Samsung Wave II is excellent so 5 megs can still be decent.

Yeah i heard that about the camera. I doubt its SGS2 standard though even if it is a good 5mp snapper. I doubt also it'll be a patch on the N8.
With todays rumours of 2.5ghz HTC Android phones coming in the new year, i cant see the point in this phone unless you're into getting to grips with Android as it should be.

As has been said many a time before, don't get hung up on the mega pixel count! I'm sure we wouldn't be able to tell the difference between photos from both, and from what I've read the sensors in the G-Nexus are better anyway...
The HTC's do sound promising, but its likely the first round of them will be Q2 so 6 months or so and the 2.5Ghz quad beast won't be till the second half of the year... so possibly Q4 to give the first lot a chance?
Also, don't forget overclocking which is bound to get the G-Nexus up to 1.6Ghz...
Looking forward to having the pure ICS experience and being the first to get updates...

So did you get one today ? im tempted like i said but i dont want to have a dual core phone for a few months and then quad core come along making it obsolete in terms of cutting edge specs.
