For the price, this is a bit of a no-brainer if your in the market for a smartphone.
It's amazing to think that LG will be selling this for almost double what Google are subsidising it for.
Reviews have been very good although two things have stuck out for me; poor battery life and from the numerous camera samples I've seen from the device, the 8mp camera is mediocre at best and should be better.
I do think that the battery issue is to do with JB - my GS3 on JB seems to run the battery down more than ICS.

Many new phones have poor battery anyway and are improved with updates. But in my photo Carphone price is £389 as they refused to sell it at that price of £239/£279. But I guess if they don't start selling them they may back down with the price. Lets see what new year January sales bring

Its a steal at £389 imo.
To think only 9 years ago, the same money bought a sim free SE T610.
So what you get for your money these days is much better.

it's amazing the initial shock of no LTE from the Android faithful commity at large had, then the quickness of the sweeping forgives leading to purchases. You'd see no forgiveness of iPhone 4S not having LTE from them just a few months ago - even to the point of rallying some kind of consumers act revolt. Still this is a solid device which I've stated all along; Nexus 4. Now we see open eyes to the likes of LG's current product lineup, even from the globally renowned android reviewers.
PS: Why the need for an 8GB?! pricing cannot and doesn't look that significant for an 8>16GB version. I really hope Google/LG produce a 32GB version and SOON!

Despite the LTE chip in the N4, not even hackers will be able to get it to work due to other missing hardware and software:

LG have potential and have had for a long time. You only gotta look at the Optimus G etc

Had a play with one in CPW today:
Screen is lovely, admittedly it was on 100pc brightness and when I switched on auto it dimmed, still no issues with regards to it appearing washed out as some reviews said.
Very, slick, stock Android is really nice and the phone is very zippy and fluid.
Design didn't sell me totally, size wise it's fine, but it does have a bit of depth and feels a little bulky.
Again, as Phonearena review has highlighted, the camera is a real let-down and a dealbreaker for me - shame really.
For the price though, if you're not fussed about the camera, this is a steal.
