Ive just seen Watchdog on BBC1 this evening, I don't normally watch it but my ears perked up when I heard people complaining about companies like EE selling you a tariff and then stepping the price up (or down - yeah right) without the customers consent and then using small print to hide the fact they do it to thousands of customers a year.
Apparently Three were one of the best albeit guilty of the same thing but promised to investigate the matter and stop it happening. EE and O2 merely skirted around the subject.

I've only seen orange hike prices up by a few pence or a quid
Or so they do write to u to tell u about increases
Worst company for increases is by far Virgin media every
Year or so they add £3 charge or more to ur bill which suxx
They're the ones who should be on watchdog lol

Virgin are capping customers speeds now to a paltry 2mb per second

This was since they started their unlimited data tariff which on pay as you go is actually 95GB/month. I know this as i briefly tried them some months back and it says on your account 95GB and unlimited texts. Not totally unlimited but more than enough for most. But as they run off EE i tried an Orange sim in my phone today(had a spare) and after years of not being with them i have found their signal has dropped to 1 bar in my room compared to the days i was with them last back in 2003. Yet using Virgin sim signal was great. Orange truly have gone shite. All i read now is constant complaints still nothing has changed since Hans Snook left all those years ago as Orange boss. He made Orange great all those years ago. Now they are just a bottom class network imo with most complaints and slowest speeds. Their EE service must be awful

Virgin aren't even a proper network for mobile devices, they're just an added extra of a bigger company. That's why they have such poor deals on mobile phones. How about a Blackberry curve 8900 for £99 on a £35p/m two year contract ?
Yeah right.

That's a bit expensive. They do unlimited data though which is good but with poor speeds
