Hey guys,
do you notice that the phone uses soft keys instead of the usual "yes" and "no" keys?
You know what? That means that the pic of upcoming T610 may very well be true cause it incorporates the same keys!!! Signs of better things to come...
Hope T610 will come quickly...

Well, I can confirm the fact the SE is going the "soft-key" direction. I prefer the Yes/No system they had before... but I guess it's the best way to go for a complicated menu system.
I'm half/half on the jog-dial though. It's a neat system...but the joystick of the T68 was more useful since it was ambidextrous.

Does anybody know if this phone will support GSM 1900 MHz? It says in the description it is a dual band - does that mean dual band UMTS/GSM (UMTS one band, GSM triple band - the other) or GSM 1800/900 MHz? I hope it supports all three GSM 1800/900/1900 MHz frequencies in addition to UMTS. Any thoughts?

i think its an excllent move from sonyericsson, they will not only inspire carriers and operators but as well consumers. this will speed up competition and a start of a new race. go SE!!

4 softkeys... because its designed like every other docomo/sprint/cdma2000 phone in the us/japan.... thats f**ked... all phones look like this basically... with those ugly flat buttons... a 4 way directional button thingy and clamshell design...

I know... seems that all the telcos now don't have any good designers whatsoever!
What happened to the very first SonyEricsson concept phone?!?!?!?! That looksed really good!!!
What about the older Ericsson concept phone designs?!??!! Those looked good as well. I'd rather have an old design that looks good, than a new, never-seen-before design that looks like crap.
