Thanks for the links... both sites confirms it, there's no Britecell sensor on the s7. This leads me to believe... that if Britecell is not used in the camera, then that increased focusing speed must come from that larger lens opening.
Which actually makes sense... more light means increased speed. Basic principle of all cameras.

ps. Although both sites still does not explain why Samsung went for 12 instead of 16. I mean, why change from 16:9 to 4:3?
