Aussie,

I think for me the 29 apps opened was just a good way of showing, how much of a difference the extra RAM makes despite the fact that the Note8 has SPen features. In terms of real life usage , I've been setting up my Note8 all day while also working and going to meetings and what has good out is how it kept every single thing I did in RAM from the moment I booted it the 1st time.

As you can imagine setting up a new phone at work ain't exactly easy when there's other distractions, lol, so I'd get through half of a thing I'm doing on anyone then run off somewhere come back and start something else and much later remember what I was busy with before.

Thank you Rikken it's so good to be back on a large display and with the SPen again. I love how hefty and large this Note8 is, feels so solid.

To think I was either going to get a S8+ or XZ Premium, i was going to kick myself if I missed out on this beast

I have already got series loaded (Narcos season 3 and Al Chapo season 1) loaded, as well as a ton of automotive YouTube videos waiting for me to be watched in 1440P@60FPS in Watch Later on this glorious display.

Will give the battery a good few cycles and see how that does to.

I have setup both Finger Print Scanner and Iris Scanner, glad we are able to use either 1 when unlocking as we see fit. I must have larger than normal hands as I really do not struggle to reach the Finger Print Scanner but it is more cumbersome than being on the front especially when I want to unlock the device when it's lying on a flat surface.

I am already using the Span even when editing this post, so great to have a precision instrument to poke the display with.

Although I am still not convinced by the 29 apps in the memory I have followed your example .
It was a rush decision so.i will probably loose a bit of money when selling the S8 plus 😥

I don't think the RAM will make that much difference plus the S8+ in the video looks suspect. I believe optimisation is more important or how do you explain the following video?

Definitely not showing when checking the available RAM....only 3 available. With S8 plus I get 1.6-1.7

The Note 8 did a brilliant job considering it has more pixels to push in the UI (2220x1080 vs. 1920x1080 in XZP) and I like how it kept almost every app in memory there.

The RAM definitely makes a difference. I love how nothing is being closed in the background o my Note8, it just keeps going.
