I think Sweden has the most interesting offer so far.
Buy an Xperia XZ3 and make yourself eligible to buy the A8F OLED TV with 50 percent discount.

Wow... I would buy the XZ3 then buy the A8F, and I'll sell the TV at full price with max GBP 200 discount, and it will be just like I'm wasting GBP 1650 to get a minimum of GBP 50 income.
XZ3 - GBP 700
55" A8F - GBP 1900 before disc.

The Xperia XZ3 is well received by reviewers in general and by users as well.
I hope whatever comes next continues but with fewer corner cuts. No reason to just have 4GB even though it has been proved 4GB is fine.

I keep hearing that the display is from LG and not JDI. Could anyone confirm/deny (preferably with a source)?

The Sony OLED screen wins in tests from Samsung or LG ...
so it will be hard for me to believe that LG will sell the better screen to Sony.
Anyway the screen is using the knowledge Sony got with their OLED TV's.
