@phil.n:
In auth SC I was told that SE acknowledged it as a bug. I give a better description of the bug:
If I do not pay for gprs service then gprs indicator in T68i disappears and all works fine. And when I pay but there are no free timeslots and gprs is unavailable T68i shows it with "greek capital letter gamma". At that moment T68i users can not receive any incoming voice calls and sms.

oh ok, that does look like quite a nuiscance.

For UK users: I just phones a CPW service centre and R8 was not yet available and the guy has no idea when they will get it. He could niether confirm or deny the extra games since he hasn't heard anything about it.

Regards,

Phil.

Yes you can upgrade your software, you can do it yourself, I am not sure if that is the correct cable but.......DONT DO IT YOURSELF.
Take it to a service point and get it upgraded properly. In the UK it costs £30 outside of warranty.

I think.....

That the language pack depends on where you get it upgraded. Therefore if you get it upgraded in Denmark you would get the dutch language pack. However isn't the chinese version called the t68ie? Does it use different firmware versions? (someone will correct me because I am probably talking out of my arse!)

Nope, you want to look underneath the battery. I just did a check and t68i's with the chinese language pack are refered to as "t68ie". Therefore they may require a different firmware version but like I said, someone will confirm/deny this.

i hope it can be upgraded here in Belgium because now it's slow and i really need a dutch t9 dictionary

but under the battery it really says
t68i

but we shall see, what others opinion is on this matter.
