I have just heard from BMW today that the BT kit works well with the Nokia 6310i but she wasnt sure if it would work ok with the P800. What she did say was she was going to get me a demo car which had BT fitted for me to try out. So if anyone is interested I will post back here my results hopefully tomorrow or saturday.

@zabir
I'm not thinking of buying a car with BT at the moment (may think about this next year for my wife) but I think it would be good to hear which cars have BT kits that work with the P800. Knowing which BT kits support P800 is legitimate information, IMO, for this forum.

Just thought I would let those of you know who are interested,
The P800 doesnt work with the BMW BT, The T68i does but not the p800.My local dealer will be sending BMW HQ an e-mail to see what they can do about it.

Nothing can be done about it. there is no profile in the P800 therefore it wont work...maybe this will be possible if in some upgrade for the P, the profiles were added, till then, get a t610 and when the new p810 comes or even p800 upgrade(with profiles), then get it.

@Sage
That motor is so not worth it - I bought my wife one, just so she could pop down the shops etc. when we run out of caviar, but the

just sucks. I'd go for some poxy Beemer, say, a 330Ci or something like that...

I don't know who manufactures the BT kit for BMW, but I had the SE one put in my BM'er and it works fine. It also works in the Land Rover...... So couldn't you just get BMW to put the SE one in instead of ....dare I say it.... an obviously pants piece of kit of theirs. Seems like an easy soloution.
