Just a concern really...

It's wonderful having access to all the systems of our P800, but isn't that also somewhat risky since it's very possible that we may accidentally delete some vital info or data of our P800 and prevent further proper function? Or, is there some safety device that will prevent the deletion of certain file types? In addition, can we then use SMan to remove certain builtin features of our choice? Example, remove built in browser since Opera is available?

I notice there is a new feature called FixSyncTime. It is meant to allow the P800 to resync all appointments according to the most current time zone. It also removes GmtOffset.ini and Daylight.ini. Can someone please explain how it works?

This is one feature that keeps bugging me since everytime I travel to a different timezone, my schedule is all screwed up. Will this fix the problem?

Thanks in advance!

@jackyochan
I read the manual as you should had done too (Ajack told us to read it before asking questions )
Fix synch timezone
This option deletes the Daylight.ini
and GmtOffset.ini files from the P800.
Doing this allows you to synchronize
your P800 with the PCSuite software
provided by Sony Ericsson and allows
the P800 to re-synch all calendar
entries with the current time zone.
Very useful for roaming users.

Hope that answer is what you where looking for.

pimp800:

Is this GUI available for download anywhere? The enlarged pictures are just broken links.

I like sman but it would look much nicer with som 3D'ish icons and easier to use with some icons for the task view, ala Switcher.. Then it'd be perfect.

the links r working fine. Try again. Im sure of that. Basically the icons are modified to look better. It has an XP type of theme. Just take a look and check'em out yourself.

Absolutely better.
SMan has almost all the functionality you could wish except looks.
This helps a lot!

If you can adapt 1.2b next week....

Good work!
