I spoke to the se consumer line today and they said it would be possible to upgrade my t610 myself over bluetooth,cable or infrared, it will be possible with a special program you could download from the se site.he said it will be possible 31 october,when i asked if i could upgrade my p800 he said it will be for all se phones.

In order to update over bluetooth/irda, the phone would actually have to have spare memory to hold the new firmware temporarily during the upgrade. That's about 8-12 megs (don't remember exactly), so I wouldn't hold my breath...

Forget about it,
There is no way it is possible to update your phone trough bluetooth or IR. Because using this function you need software. and when you update your phone all software will be ereased.
