that is excatly what i meant...it is not because the P9 has a video recorder software(ect...) preset that i will buy it...i can just use the program that sweet hacked for eveyone's use or use different programs... My point is, there arent many improvments that would make me drowl for the P9...

I have personal incentives for buying one right away.. I want to see if the developers have worked with improving flexibility with my Chatpen (CHA-30) and if I get better video results with my video files. But again, the P800 will be obsolete soon enough and they will be coveted just as much as the original T68 is now. I'll still have my P800 as well as everyone else, but how much would we honestly want to use it if we know it has a successor that could do better. Again this is not boasting... Hopefully members can understand the point of the thread.. The original post is written clearly and makes specific referrences to another thread in which many members flamed others by calling them liars and dummies because they said the P900 was either available now or will be this week.

I totaly understand BF. If I had the money, I would have done the same thing.. Now I have to wait for the pricedrop after christmass..
I have the luck of being in the Netherlands, where the P900 will (hopefully) be available shortly.. It must be hell to live in the US, where you KNOW it will take ages for the P900 to arrive! And when it arrives, the successor is already out in Europe! It really feels good to be the only one with a specific (cool) phone! I bought my T610 in July, but now EVERYONE has one around here.. So I'm selling it to my girlfriend (not for money

ok, when a product is created there is this thing called a PROTOTYPE (maybe u shld look that word up in a dictionnary), now, the prototype is given out to a select bunch who signed a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA).. only 1 prototype is given per person. It is ILLEGAL to sell that prototype.
the phone was announced monday, you ordered it monday/tuesday, whichever.. the developper's is only allowed to be sold after the 27th

Dubai has the phone in stock and is going to begin selling it becuz they hv gotten AUTHORIZATION from sony ericsson to do so.
no legit company is allowed to sell a phone in a country before Sony Ericsson gives authorization for it's sale to take place within that country
UAE is the first country that can sell the phone
knowing how most of the stores in UAE operate, they WILL NOT sell the phone before that date. so that website, unless BASED in UAE wld not hv been able to obtain enuff P900s to satisfy more than 1 in stock
the P900 is not be shipped elsewhere in the world before the 27th..
THUS MY QUESTION ARISES as to how they were able to get so many P900s

and I am in no way jealous of u, if that is what u think I am...
and understand that some ppl dont see the P900 as the next step.. just cuz they dont want it, isnt cuz they cant afford it or cant get it
some ppl just dont want it..

I am just trying to understand where that website got it's P900s
cuz I'm hving troubles with UAE right now, and if another country has it, I wld be more than willing to get it from there
it strikes me as sketch that they hv the phone
that's all.. dont assume my intentions
