@boyi, if I understand it correctly you will not purchase a phone contract and let your 13 yr old pay you for it.
That's fair I suppose, but other ppl may make other decisions. That's also fair.
Why you or your child make a big deal out of it kinda baffles me tho. Why do you care?

@vlam,of course i would be breaking the law if i got my daughter a contract,and as kids these days grow up too fast anyway you really think i am going to speed up that process with my own kids
Kids should be kids doing kids stuff,just my opinion along with most other responsible parents

I think the fact that:
- I have phoned them on several occassions saying I used the phone and they told me my dad needed to confirm that I could change some settings
- I was with my dad in the shop (which was my network provider's shop not a retail phone shop) when we bought the phone and made it perfectly clear that it was going to be my birthday present
shows that my network provider is fully aware that I'm using the phone.

In UK, you need to be over 18 (or maybe 16) to have a credit agreement, which is what a contract phone is, so dad is fine.
There has never been any rules about who uses the phone, it could be used by the dog, a Baby, Granny ETC. (best get them one each as they will only fight over it).
