I can't help but wonder why ppl bother to announce their departure.
Countless fed up ppl have left without so much as a word...
only a few have actually missed them..... but when somebody says they will be leaving shortly, the whole board is in chaos.
Do we get like this in real life when somebody announces it's time to go?
I'm just a bit confused I guess

while I do agree with you in general, in this particular case axxxr had this personal thread appreciating his efforts which I guess he felt he should ackowledge one last time before departing, and I guess that makes it a little different from the normal departure cases
