Well my k700 has arrived, which is great news, fan-bloody-tastic bit of kit. Sooooo much improvement over my t610. However i got an email from amazon saying that there has been massive demand for the mini ipods and it might be delayed. :-( This message was posted from a K700

you know what i just figured out you get the new 40gb ipod in the state's for about £230 where as in the uk the old one is £350? where's the logic? i was going to get the mini but now that i found that out am just waiting till i go to the states and i'll get the 40gb one. Rip of Britain is a pain in the ass!

UK prices are disgusting btw thats why I got my mini from the USA aswell AB BRANDNEW shipped from a chap off eBay

is it absolutely vital u have a usb 2.0 port to use the ipod mini or can u use the normal usb port and just buy a plug-in charger thingy?? im gettin a green ipod mini w00t!!!!

also i was wondering if anyone with a k700 could post some images of the mini next to the k700 so i can get a real idea of size of it, as i don't think i can wait till i go to the US to get one! lol

If i were you i'd just buy a firewire port. They're only about 20quid and are faster. The minis a tiny bit wider, Shorter and half as thick as the k700. No pics just compared sizes with my friends a bit back This message was posted from a K700

@ four. Yep u can use a normal usb port altho the 2.0 is an advantage ;-) I pref to charge my mini on the mains as it gets a betta charge :-) @ Barry. I know u wanted the actual size against the K700.. But can I say its smaller and thinner than my T68i.. If I get time i'll post photos of it tomorw ive got my phone back be gud to see how the qty of my camera is on a pc :-) This message was posted from a T68i
