Hey guys! I dont think installing the keyboard flip is worth it.. maybe just the firmwire upgrade is a good thing.. the main good thing is the memory and the capacity of the external card, and I dont think that this is upgradable for p900 users

Do SE’s testers perform extensive testing prior releasing any product?
I believe yes, especially when releasing an innovation such as flip/keyboard. Definitely all various threads/replies, were people say that keyboard is very small, how can you use both hands etc., had already concerned SE, who probably have the answer.
My opinion is that they may have tested the new mini-keyboard BUT they want to test it more widely, to get more opinions (t4 release it) and then may include it in the new model under OS symbian 8, which seems to be the real step forward, it maybe even bypass IPAQs.
Even though I love my P900, I would be very glad to have the new product but only on exchange basis. The only thing I do not care about is the 1 or 1.5 megapixels shoot; koz mobile phone makers need a lot of time to reach even half of the quality of my ixus400.
Also "Mr M" the PXX started as businessman tool but after while it got a much wider reception

I hope one day some guy would sell me a P900 dirt cheap. I would buy it even if it is in the most horrible of conditions! I am saving money since march and now i have almost £20 with me!

Does anyone know approx. how much this will be.
I mean, will it be considerably higher than the P900?
I've ordered the P900, but still have another few days before I can cancel the order, so I was wondering if I should wait for P910...
I'm paying 540 for the P900 (euros), would the P910, in your opinoin/s, be much higher?

it will almost certainly be in the ballpark of the p900 price when it was released, that is the normal thing for successive phones

Seems to me like this phone is what the P900 should have been in the first place - finally, a really worthwhile functional update to the P800. PRO support alone makes it well worth the upgrade, and greatly superior to the P900 too.
P900 owners - bad luck - you jumped the gun.

I've read through this discussion and I have to say that I am not all that impressed with the P910 as an upgrade for P900 users, but I can see the attraction it would hold for P800 users or those who don't own a smartphone at all.
Owning a P900 myself I shall not be upgrading, I don't see any real need to, it doesn't have any features that I need, want perhaps, but not need. I shall be content to wait for the P1000 to be released.
For those of you with a P800 I would imagine that this would be a good option for an upgrade unless you can wait for the P1000.
I don't think SE have done that bad a job with the P910, it is certainly unattractive to P900 users, but for those still to buy their first smartphone or those wishing to upgrade from older models it does present some very good features, notably the increased memory capacity and the support for larger memory sticks. Admittedly I would have thought that SE would have addressed some of the many issues that have been identified with the P900 since its release, perhaps they have and we just haven't heard about them yet, I certainly hope so at any rate.
All together this isn't a bad product, I can understand why P900 owners might feel a little cheated, but at the end of the day we shall have our chance with the P1000. I'm not so sure if I like the general SE policy of releasing upgraded versions of their products though e.g. T610/T630, P800/P900/P910, perhaps they started as they meant to go on with the T68/T68i?

well i love it, both design-wise and feature-wise
and i don't know why are you guys complaining
they have corrected all the flaws of the original, man considering that you wan't a revolution every six months then i guess you shouldn't be a fan of pda's considering they don't have cameras and they have the sam old 240*320 65k screen for about three years now, lol, i mean you guys are never satisfied.... for it's the best thing that could happen, memory, sync, email, internet and keyboard the only sad thing is it doesn't have wi-fi so you can't use it in your home network but ok i could live with bt....

Certainly a very good device, but still doesnt justify moving from a P900!
I had the same idea upon the conversion from a P800 (which I sold a few months back) to a P900 (now owned) coz I was convinced that the P900 didnt have any mistake carried forward from its predessesor.
The P910 is a VERY impressive device, but honestly, I see the P900 much sexier and sleek! Despite the sturdy look of the P910!
The 262k and the 1GB expansion is gonna wait until accompanied by a megapixel camera, (in the P1000 hopefully) then certainly I would buy one so it can be the TOTAL UPGRADE!!
Besides, my P900 is only two weeks old
Good one SE....
