same here. i even sold my k700i and nokia 7610 for that phone. but it seems my dream of having that phone is drifting away. and, my anxiety is killing me soooooooooooo much in getting that phone!

There's an SE booth in glorietta this week - in front of the armani and mossimo stores, near the mall entrance na katabi ng bread talk. There's a demo unit of the S700i =) Ang ganda nung phone!
But the promo guys and girls there appear to be clueless about it's local release date and price. One of them went so far as to say it might be released in the last week of October or early November.
Sheesh..

I've read a lot of reviews regarding the s700i being too overpriced and almost same features as a k00i. Personally, it's not worth your hard earned money

Looks like the official dealers will be selling it either this week or next. There're 2 sellers on bidshot offering the s700i already. One is going for 40k and the other for 35k. Just way overpriced! Still crossing my fingers it goes for below 30k.

@tom - im waiting for it 2 be released in dubai, im guessing that it would be a wee bit cheaper there, though its taking so long there aswell. i sold my z600 and got a k700i, i was sposed to pay my mom(in dubai) half for it so i thought i would be selling the k700 aswell. unfortunately my mom liked the k700 and we had an agreement that shed buy the s700 for me n i give her the k700. i gues that would be better since id get to see it pa rin, dba!?

I've tried the phone, they have these 2 demo units in Glorietta 4. It's a cool phone against my K700i having a 1.3 megapixel cam, 262K color resolution and it has room for memory expansion up to 1gb(memory stick). They said it's going to be out in the market around last week of October and might be priced around 32K. Actually, the SE Sales Person isn't quite sure about that. I was thinking of selling my less than a month old K700i to buy that S700i. What do you think guys? I wanna know your thoughts. Thanks! =)
