u can think whatever u want, but that is just YOUR opinion. it is NOT just not debatable at all (and like in a courtroom drama, "strike off from record")

As you said earlier, SE is not different from Nokia, they're just phone manufacturers, but customer experience is what defines consumption.
When my 4th nokia broke down, I said enough and moved to SE, now I only have good experiences with my 4 SE phones, so I will keep consuming SE.
Maybe nokia phones are better now, even better than SE, but my experinece with them is so bad that I'm not going back.

I sense a note of frustration there. Many of your comments are personal opinions and I believe that, as far as I'm concerned, I have presented my argument whenever I have replied to your points. There is nothing wrong with stating one's opinions, after all that is what an interpretation of fact is. For instance, you may very consider Series 60 to be the best smartphone platform, whilst I do not. That doesn't necessarily make either of us wrong.

Again I sense a note of frustration, perhaps understandable. I think what you have to realise is that this is very much a Sony Ericsson forum, the vast majority of members like SE products. All the sales figures, quotes, facts and reasoning in the world will not persuade some members here that SE are anything less than perfect. I happen to think that Nokia aren't too bad, but I just happen to prefer SE products over Nokia products; this is due to a variety of reasons.
I would imagine that someone trying to point out Nokia's flaws would encounter the same sort of response amongst a forum of Nokia fans. You may consider it 'irrational' for someone to make a statement such claiming SE make great quality products without any evidence to back that claim up, but that person has probably bought what they consider to be an excellent mobile phone. They could be sitting with it in their hands and they might be thinking that it feels and operates in a manner, which warrants the description 'quality'.

Wouldn't it be nice if we could just drop the subject altogether? If you don;t like
phones, fine. If you like them, fine. But stop the pointless bickering about the products (apparently not the company itself even if that appears to be the topic title) you are buy no means forced to buy them or even like them!

Comparing the two companies can be interesting, but it seems to have gotten to the point now where we are just going in circles without any interesting debate. There have been a few threads comparing SE and Nokia over the last week or so, but I don't see that anything particuarly useful has come out of any of them.
I must admit that I enjoyed the debate at first, but I have lost interest now; it just seems to be a case of going over old points and debating the same issues with the same results.

I agree with some of ur points. I don't know, maybe some members in esato do not want to know the other side of the story. So these threads that presented SE in the negative is too stressful for some to handle. Maybe it is time for someone to start some "bash Nokia" threads to cheer everyone up.
btw: I didnt say Series60 is the best smartphone.
