name of the whitepaper on the se global developer site is:

so you can do a search for it. very interesting, if long, read.
after reading it, i really miss the messenger application. hopefully vodafone japan will introduce it in a big way at some point, since it seems very well fit for our market here.

My V802SE is unlocked and I'm using it with a local SIM card (Hong Kong). I am having no luck with the seperate distribution for mp3s.. anyone have suggestions on things I could try?

kashawara region or something like that..i got prob spelling it, they got all 3 colours, wanted to bring one back to sg ard 57000yen excl gst no contract but the guy said he got no confidence it can unlock to sg...today i find out remote unlocker can unlock...hiazzzz

according to various japanese sites, yr info is wrong: white and copper are not on sale.
furthermore: yr info is suspect: there is no shop in japan that will be able to sell the 802se without a vodafone japan subscription. selling of "unlocked" fones has not been, to this date, ever available in japan. if you have place that can do this, pls do let us know.

hello:
1. you can use the v800 (euro version) in Japan, with a 3g usim card from other networks. count on voice only, and maybe not being able to send sms if you do use a non-vodafone 3g usim card. you will be able to receive sms however.
2. you can use the z1010 in japan. same restrictions as above.
pls tell him to roam on the vodafone network rather than the docomo network.
