IMHO,
camera's the only what makes REAL difference over T610/K700, and
not only the "nominal difference" explained with numbers.
REAL difference means I can use it instead of any other 2mp consumer camera.

Yeh, Eldar said if we can solve this puzzle he'll show the next one.
First thought was that it's the same as the audio connection on the K700i, but it isn't. Possible compatibility issues with old SE products, eg old chargers sync stands etc.

I hate it when people do that.
Before people get the wrong idea:
That picture is just a concept design that 'pavlov's dog' on Mobile-Review came up with. It has nothing to do with 'Clara', but Eldar has said that it's similar to another upcoming model from SE. I repeat, this is completely unofficial, and just something that a fan came up with.
Jesus.

Yeah I heard this rumour some time back that they would change the charger after the Z1010 so it looks like its coming to pass.

I heard that too. But that still doesn't explain what it is.
Quoting from some users on MR:
WildNomad:
Quote:The splitted connector on the Txxx/x700 series allowed to plug the earphones and the charger in an independent way. Now that there is only one connector, it MAY means that the earphones can not be plugged there because it wouldn't allow to charge the phone while using the handsfree.
May be the earphones' plug is now a "standard jack"
Also, it looks like they may have switched into a Nokia's Popport-like approach. If this is true, communication with all accesories would be in a digital manner using a serial bus. With the older connector, digital communication was very slow (i.e. restricted to standard serial communication speeds). Also, the interaction of older accesories with the phone took place by issuing AT command on the serial communication pins: this is how the MP3 handsfree player worked. Maybe now they have richer means of interacting with the user.
The drawbacks: This would mean that we could see soon smarter accesories from SonyEricsson that should be incompatible with the older phones. Also, all the software used to flash the phones would be useless until the inner workings of the new data bus(es) is/are discovered.
Of course, all this is only my guess...

Quote:I would be really suprised if you can attach Nokia accesories on this phone ... but if it is PopPort in Nokia, let it be RaPort in SE... ...
all the functions of the connector - it is nice all in one connector that does anything you expect from a "real" connector... I am not only sure if it can charges phone
