Hey Everyone,
I've been around Esato Forums for a while but only for mobile phones' reasons (my dear S700i).
Then, I found this great thread.
I'm the proud owner of this beauty of technology called PSP since December.
This machine is really a piece of art. I just can't let it down (especially with Metal Gear Acid now).
MP3 payback is great.
Video is great once u get a hold of Sony's Image Converter 2 (its in japanese but easy to use: if u have a card reader on your computer, it will directly encode the video on your MS Duo, creating the right folder at the right place). For example, I converted an .avi file of 700 Mo to an .MPEG4 file of 350 Mo to play on PSP, the result was great. Depending on the quality of the encoding u use, u can fit 2-3 movies on a 512 Mo MS Duo.
@MilkSP
Thanks for the colour/month news.
I didn't know that & kinda freaked out on the 1st of January. Thought something was wrong with My Precious.
@Sirhackalot
I'm getting a WiFi connection at home in 10 days, will I be able to connect my PSP to it and do a network update?
Once again, great thread.
What about a review of games we've already messed with? And maybe video & games saves sharing?

The DVD is a 4.7 GB disk and contains the nessary files to convert your files to the psps understandable format And a Obital Mesh Network So you can play online with you psp with other people online.
Here is an example of how the psp would look like when you play online
The Method is called Tunneling.
Internet Connection=>DSL/BroadBand modem=>Win2K Server=>
Wired IP=>Computer=>WLAN Adapter or Wi-fi card=>PSP-Adhoc 1CH
For Better explanation Ask!!!

@Sirhacklot
I'm new at the whole WiFi business, so this looks a bit complicated for me, for now.
Will this tunneling be needed for the network update?
I think that I'll need major help from when I get my WiFi router in a week or so.
Thanks in advance.

Ok Now to do a network update you dont need to tunnel you will just neet to connect to a access point or router. If it is WEP encrypted then you just have to enter the Key.
Wi-fi is nothing new its just a cool name for wireless adapter or wireless card
Eg when here about wi-fi hotspots all it means that there is a populare public Wireless Network.
