Well, when i had my t610 i didn't have any cover.
The result became a unreadable screen.
Still, I don't use a cover. Don't need when i have clamshell.

hey what i do to protect the screen of my K500i is simple.. i just cut out a small piece of transparent smooth plastic and put it over the screen. i fix it with cellotape at the sides. so there.... it remains scratchless.

@Speeder
perhaps you could post a picture or link showing this ? I had a look and couldn't find any examples.
Cheers

I now have a little bit of dust between the cover and the screen. Depending in how the light falls you don't see it at all or it is shining bright as if it were on the outside.
I have been thinking about putting a vacuum cleaner on to of it and let it suck air through the joystick-opening, but I'm afraid that in fact it will only suck in more dust. Does anybody have any experinece?
I also had the joystick replaced; you can see some marks on the side of the phone where the mecanic has opened it. I don't want to have more of that so I hesitate to have it opened once more just for that dust. Any advice?
