@pdaaps

Great job so far, the flip closed mode with T9 really kicks butt! The only thing Id like to see is the menu functionality in FC mode. Great work!

yes but i have to close the pop and then choose the person in the list to chat. It would be nice to have the option to start the chat from the pop.

Ability to reply in FC mode is already present. When the app was in background, and a messages pops up, it shows the person who sent you the message, and number of new messages he has sent, and the text of the last message.

You can select the person using the rocker or pressing "OK", and you are taken to the chat view where you can reply.

Sorry about the blank! I read the thread, installed the software and tested it. The key benefit over the other IM software is the FC mode (although I think the ease of installation and connection should be commended).

FC needs to actually control the software, not just give the ability to reply. So:

- The on-line/offline view that FO gives needs to be available easily (I don't want a list of a lot of people who are not available).
- The rocker needs to work as per other apps:
* Pressing away whilst in a conversation needs to return you to the list.
* Pressing away whilst on the buddy list needs to put the app into background mode

Currently you can perform these with the return key (by OK).

What about a pop up on the pull forward of the rocker to give more control over the app in FC mode.

Still very impressive for a beta though...

Wow! I agree....I am impressed by this app!!!
I have been using Agile and also IM+ and Jmsn Pro and the one I preferred until now have been Jmsn...
But the one feature that I have been awaiting has been the possibility to chat in FC-mode, and now it's here!!!!!!!!

I will purchase VeriChat as well, because I already love it!!!

But there are some features that I still miss as well...as said in the previous post, the possibility to have a menu with some options...like for example if you are chatting with several people at a time, to scroll between them, and ONE THING that I think is NECESSARY, the possibility to disable and enable T9, AND the possibility to CHANGE inputlanguage when in a chat in FC-mode...
I have almost as many friends who are english-speaking as swedish-speaking, and usually my swedish T9 is enabled. When I get a message from an english-speaking friend, there is no way I can chat with him or her....or is there? Please help me if it's possible but I just haven't found out how to do this!!!

I wish it was also possible to have the same view of the ONLINE friends only as when the flip is open, that is WITHOUT the groups, just the icons of your friends and nothing more...it just takes space if you have many different groups for each service, msn, icq or yahoo.

I'll write more when I have used it more!!!

GOOD LUCK with the development of this software, I believe in you, this will be the best Chat-program for this platform, there is no doubt about that!!!

you can go from t9 to multitap and vice versa by keeping the (* a/A) button pressed for a couple of seconds.

In addition to adding more options and views for FC mode, other upcoming features include -

1) Helpful BOTs
2) Multiple profiles (have multiple accounts for every IM protocol)

Thanks a lot for the info! Hihi...I figured it out after using it for a while, about the T9 and the other way to type.
But I still miss the most important feature, being able to change language of the T9, I would LOVE it if it was possible because I chat often with swedish friends and english at the same time, then I have to shift between T9 and the other way constantly... Would be much easier to change language of the T9!

I noticed one more thing, when in a chat in ICQ and Yahoo the smileys are all displayed correctly, but when chatting with a contact in MSN, only the ones typed by the other person are shown as smilies, not the ones you type yourself...that is in FC-mode...

Still I would love it if you could remove the contactgroups shown in FC-mode, just like when you are chatting and viewing the buddylist with the flip open. It would take less space and save scolling a lot!!!

I'll get back with more stuff when I have something to write!

THANKS for everything!!!

I am so satisfied with your support!!! Shapeservices are very, very bad at that...

I will recommend VeriChat to all my friends!

Hihi...just remembered one more thing, when in a chat in FC-mode, and you are typing a word using T9, it's not possible to add a new word...just the ones already in your dictionary can be used...maybe something that can be fixed?
