.GOwin - just got mine today but still out. wil try when i get home. btw tks for posting my post in bnc re pc unlimited. as i mentioned in my post, the store got the last 10 items after pcx got 20.

SETUP TIPS for excited users
Background: the MS-6967 (MS Bluetooth Transceiving Key/MSI USB adapter PC2PC)
adapter was installed on an IBM Thinkpad - Celeron 700/192Mb RAM, running Windows 2000 (and Mandrake 8.2
) plus my phone: a T39m.
After installing the latest drivers from the
manufacturer's website, it's time to pair your phone and your PC.
Pairing is important since the default security level is set to medium. At this level, passwords for services can be configured before they are allowed to proceed. (By pairing devices, you dont have to enter the access information everytime you have to connect your devices.)
How to Pair Devices
Right-click on the the bluetooth icon on your system tray, select Setup>Security.
Your
device will now search for devices within range which has been set to discoverable.
Enter the passkey when asked for in your PC and in your phone.
After the
software installation, you will have 11 Bluetooth Com Ports (Virtual Com Ports (VCP)). You can find this info in your Device Manager.
Having those 11 Com ports doesnt mean that you can already use them. A few extra steps will have to be done.
On your desktop (or by opening your Windows Explorer) you will find
My Bluetooth Places. From My Bluetooth places, double-click on the Add Bluetooth Connection Wizard which will help you set-up the services that you want to use.
As an example, we will create a dedicated VCP for use of FMA (Float's Mobile Agent).
From the service drop down box, select Bluetooth Serial Port. From the device list, select your phone (which is probably the only device there for now).
You can choose to encrypt the communication between devices by checking the "Require secure encrypted communication". This is checked by default. Click on next.
This time, you will be required to select from a list of the particular service that you want to use with your phone. There would be two in this case: Serial Port 1 and Serial Port 2.
Let us select Serial Port 2. Click on OK.
Now you can name the Connection. You can make it as descriptive as you like so that there would be minimal confusion (ie. Kulas' T39 VCP for FMA).
You also have an option of selecting a particular device as the default device for the connection. Click on Finish.
From your My Bluetooth Places you will now see a new shortcut for the connection (VCP) you just made. You may click on its properties to change it's name and the port number that it uses.
Now to finish our example, I have modified the property of my new connection to use Com Port 4. I then modified my FMA setup to use the Serial Port number 4, with the highest possible speed. FTS and DTR is disabled.
Making other connections follows, more or less, the same procedure.

The installation processes on my Windows XP Professional was uneventful. Aside from the numerous warnings spitting from Windows XP that the drivers aren't signed, nothing went wrong.
Well, there's one problem though. The cheap-looking device
is too wide that i have to lift the arse of my Toshiba Tecra to allow proper insertion in the notebook's USB port.

i got mine working .. prefectly emm i can have 2 serial connection for apps .. (PC Control and FLoat agent) and Dial Up Networking to go online , while Sync ing to my Outlook .. all Simultaniously ..
oh btw .. you can also use your bluetooth headset ..while .. blue toothing with your computer ... i think

one thing i still can't get it to work .. HOW TO SEND FILES to THE COMPUTER ..emm i wanna acheive those Pictures on my Phone but can't seem to find a WAY to send stuff to my COMPUTER it just says FAILED ! .. emm .. any one with any work around ? ..

i have to permanently use it with the cable, coz it wont fit properly on kulaspiro (the notebook).
have you made the MPM, FMA, GPRS apps run simultaneously?

i believe metalflux... i've been to malaysia several times and the price of gadgets is really cheap.
this i'm f*****g amazed! my T68 is INSIDE the toilet (ok, not on the toilet bowl), but hey, it's already 12 meters away! wait... i will close the toilet door, to see if it still works... ok, i lost it. but this is what bluetooth is all about! (sigh, i now feel my anycom bt card is crap)
i am now able to transfer files between ipaq w/ anycom bt and my notebook w/ msi bt using the file transfer program of the anycom bt.
file transfer between t68i (notes, vcard, etc.) and msi bt works fine.

hahaha, and you went thru a harrowing experience for getting that
card.
hmmm, what's your maximum tranmission power setting? i think can go around 20 at max power, but i usually only set it to low.
