heres my standard home connections thingy....

Its fast enough for me to get ma xbox games and thats all i use it for really... And it costs £50 a month from blueyonder.
But for every 2 games i get it pays for itself!

Down in Australia things are pricey for big bandwidth services, ie, > 2mbit. Recently tho, telcos have been rolling out 'ADSL 2' which can offer speeds from 12 to 24mbps at a reasonable cost. Cant wait for it to arrive at my exchange!

lol, i was just as suprised. my school is in london. now its funny when some student say 'this interent is sooo slow' and i not, they just like 2 complain for no reason.
no we dont have wireless internet, the it tech are trialing it tho, so maybe soon, lol
how is it posible to get such high speeds?

Well the website could have been cached in the system..in other words someone might have run the same test and so hence giving you a false speed..but then I could be wrong.
