If anyone else is looking for a pair of these, you can pick them up on Play.com for £17.99.

Not sure if I like them yet personally, will have to play more with the different sized ear pieces to see if I can get some more bass out of them.

It's a pity you can't use the equaliser on the radio :-\

I've seen a set of HPM-70 on eBay for $3.99 (http://cgi.ebay.com/Original-HPM-70-Stereo-Handsfree-W550i-W800i-K750i-W800_W0QQitemZ5832150845QQcategoryZ20347QQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem). Seems to good to be true. Anyone have any experience of buying from this seller, or others selling HPM-70s for less than $10?

The $31.50 postage costs is maybe how he'd get more money out of you

i love my HPM-70's miles better than the earphones that came with my ipod mini in my opinion. Mainly just because they block out that much more exteria noise!

It's a hansfree. The middle piece is the mic/button, and that's also where the supplied earphones (or your own set) plugs into.

Has anybody a pair of EX71's aswell as the hpm-70's?

...if soo are they near enough the same in quality!

any help is apreciated!! cheers!!

if anyone is still wondering how they compare to the sony ex line up of headphones, they are similar but a bit different.

the rubber on the hpm-70 is slightly thicker and less soft
the rubber part also doesn't go in as deep as the sony ones
one nice improvement is they now have a cover for the little hold on the sony so earwax doesn't get stuck in it
they sound fairly similar

i do find they are a bit less comfortable than the sony's and they fall out easier, both of which my be caused because they don't go as deep
the sony rubbers do fit it so you can use them instead
