download o2 gprs settings. simple. anyway, has anyone found a way to get free texts on normal o2 sim cards without topping up at all?

Jag har använt
http://www.centSMS.com i 3 månader och den är kanon. Till skillnad mot andra SMS-företag med dolda avgifter kan du här skicka SMS helt gratis.

Hi do those centre numbers work with any O2 Genie Sim card or does it have to start with a special prefix, i.e. 07731, 07843?
And do they still work as of now?
Any help is much appreciated,
Zak.

As mentioned some time ago in this thread, O2 sorted this loophole out; the only texts you'll now get are the allocated monthly allowances, subject to the usual monthly top-up, on the O2 PAYG online SIMS.
In other words, no longer free texts on selected prefixed O2 PAYG SIMs.
