Nice to see that the two ever-present Nokia fanboys are leading the way, drawn to an se vs nokia thread like flies to shit. In fact it's really just you two as usual isn't it..?
Some of the crap on this thread is just hilarious, but I think the creme de la creme is the comparison of evolution, culminating in the Nokia 7610 and the SonyEricsson P910i, and that you are actually claiming this as a point in Nokia's favour
What are you even doing comparing them??
There is no point in going over old ground (I don't think I could add much to the essays scotsboy has already written on the subject anyway!
) but you are again arguing that popularity equals superiority, which maybe a valid argument in the business mainstream, but is meaningless on a
dedicated forum, which is not populated by Joe Public but by mobile phone enthusiasts, who, it would be fair to say, represent the more discerning element of the consumer base. With market leadership comes complacency and a strategy of profit over ethics. That may seem harsh but Nokia's long history of wheeling out model after model that is one feature different from it's predecessor is simply milking the market and holding back the progression of technology...because it is more profitable, which is fair enough.
But innovation (another old argument) and technological sophistication is what impresses most
enthusiasts and not simply the value of the stock - I guess it's a bit like football teams in that respect. Ask any Manchester United fan!
Aside from that, and in trying to be balanced, why start these kind of stupid threads in the first place, and what an utter load of bollocks has been passed off as fact further back on this thread, most of it by Nokia-bashers. Seems some people join Esato and are only drawn to post to get in the act of Nokia-bashing - pretty pathetic and very boring for those of us who keep seeing these threads pop up time and time again and all go the same way.
Can't we all find something a little more interesting (and original) to discuss... *he says having typed for what seems like a week*

This shows that you r only interested in what you want to see or read. I am not claiming anything for Nokia. It is just a quick response to the person who said "HDD phone" is nothing more than a brick with no technology advance.
I could'nt help taking a stab at P800->P910i brick. It is all about the "unvarying" factor called size of the PXX series.

good. now we are getting somewhere. Now take a look inwards at SE and tell me something about the K700/K500, K608/K600, S600/S700 and W800/K750i and the numerous other combinations I have lost track of.
and lastly,
a "vs" thread would'nt be interesting (or even sickening to a point) if SE fanboys can only come out with retarded one-liner like "nokia sucks", "nokia camera sucks", "nokia Series 60 sucks", "nokia is a brick", "se camera is the best", "se thrash nokia".
I always thought everyone comes out wiser in a "vs" thread if points are presented coherently and are supported by reasoning. Of course, unless you have no interest to know or it pains you to know more. If this is the case, then please do continue to savour in your "SE is the best" bliss.
