Did anyone get a problem with their LCD lights after the upgrade? Ive been noticing from the past two weeks that my phone's LCD lights automatically turns off (flip closed) no matter how many keys or what keys I press. If I will open the flip, the light will turn on. What I would normally do is restart the phone. After the restart, the light option from the control panel will show OFF. The problem happens intermittently.

@CrazyStud17
I don't have flip, but I noticed something weird with the backlight at some times, it doesn't turn on button click.
In my case I'm sure it's (somehow) related with removing the MemoryStick from the slot. If I boot with the MS in the slot it seems to fix it.
Anyway, this rarely happens.

It happens to me only when I leave PowerMP3 open, I bet your light will act normally if you close PowerMP3 completely.

Come to think of it, I have PowerMP3 installed and I'm pretty sure that during those weird instances, I had PowerMP3 open. I'll try exiting the application and monitor my phone. Thanks a lot for the response guys. Y'all are great!

Okay, I've read that the application (PowerMP3) is really the culprit when it comesto backlit issues. Here's a link:

guys... got another problem with my flip but i think the FW has something to do with it... whenever i remove my flip the messaging program wont work. it just hangs. this only happens when the flip is removed. works well when put it back on.

the only 3rd party software installed is the latest version of Sman. FW is R5A02

has anyone experienced this w/ their P910i?

i had experience this with my P900 before i took off sman
