@Bri. People in hoodies would look suspicious if they ran onto a Tube Train. Why can't you see that? Why do you find it hard to believe that the Police were trying to do the right thing in a very difficult situation?

@ARTY. If they didn't think he was a terrorist but they wanted to kill him anyway then why didn't they kill him as room as if left the house instead of putting other people in danger? Sound stupid? Well thats what our Conspiracy Theorists would have us believe!

I have no doubt the police thought they were doing the right thing. I want to make that clear. And if an officer had shouted "Halt, armed police" at someone 5 metres away and that person bolted and the officer put 2 shots in to the guy's head from 8 metres I would have no issue with that.
But three blokes chase a guy, trip him up... two
hold him down whilst a third shoots him in the head
five times?
The victim must have been restrained and static or the third officer would not have fired whilst his two colleagues were holding the guy down. And have you any idea the potential for accidental injury in discharging 5five 9mm rounds in a confined space?
Something went
SERIOUSLY wrong.

@Bri. They took no chances. I am not saying noone should be held accountable, just that they had good reason to believe that this person who was under suspicion and trying to escape, ran onto a tube train. If if was a bomber and he was not challenged then imagine the consequences!"a man under suspicion was followed and allowed to walk onto a tube and detonate a blast when under surveillance. . . ", yeah, that would be a real moral booster wouldn't it . . .

And you think armed police shooting an unarmed bloke five times in the head has made me feel any safer about going on the Underground?

@Absinthbri.
Of course not!
But maybe it was the lesser of two evils. Shoot him dead or let him detonate a blast killing scores. They did not know at the time but they must have had good reason to believe he was intent on causing damage.
Sorry if your morale is not high at the moment but name me a person who might have high morale at this present time? No?
In fact I will do it for you - may be the terrorists have.
The action the police took was not supposed to boost morale it was supposed to protect innocent victims.
If it had turned out he had of been a terrorist then that is when it would have been a morale booster.
And another thing, how do you know he was static at the time? You weren't there. The police said he was challenged at a ticket booth but you refuse to believe because of lack of evidence. But on the other hand you want to believe the victim was static?
Is that something else the police said?
