Haven't received any notifications from Agile Messenger regarding a paid subscription when I log on. So far so good. I'm in California though, so I wonder when I start getting this notification.

Cool...
I've been testing for many im apps. Bye to agile messenger as it's no longer free (i've already got the notification). I opt for jMSN Pro. It's the only one that looks more like the desktop msn and has a couple of other services included...

I would say the best one is VeriChat, try it out.

Why do you think that VeriChat is the best?
Now since Agile is no longer free, it becomes a relavant question:
Agile Vs VeriChat--which one is the best.

I had and still have a working Agile but purchased VeriChat long time ago. Agile was quite slow to work with compared to VC (my opinion). It works in FC mode which is important to me and you got all those Bots as well which is great to use for weather forecast and much more then that. As I said why not try the trial out and compare yourself?

JMsn seems best to me as it resembles MSN much more, you can see when the other person is typing and send various files, not just pictures. The only good feature than Agile has is the push to talk which can be very handy.

They should have begun charging us by now. End of july was almost 3 weeks ago ! Did Agile actually ask any of you for a fee,or stopped the service anywhere in the world? This message was posted from a Nokia 7650

Hi there, I just want to advise that I haven't uninstalled my Agile because, if you read the announcement, you will read that paying the 19.95 will give you the App forever and you'll never have to pay (except the kb you use). So, I don't think it's worth than that. Pay one time and forget, this is acceptable I think.

I don't agree with u unless u are sure...
They say 19,99 paid once with the credit card or 2,99 paid monthly. Personally, i guess the 20euros are a year fee.

I posted a link to the announcement about this earlier in the thread!!

If you click on the payment link in that announcement, you see the following message, which does indeed confirm that the €19.95 payment is all you'll ever need to pay:

"You are purchasing one copy of Agile Messenger 3 at the special introductory price of €19.95. This is a one time charge and there are no recurring charges...."

Like swiZZ, I think this is acceptable.
