anyone know how or where I can find all the account settings i need to use the "myfriends" stuff in my k750i? i am on t-mobile usa it asks for a user name, domain, password, server, and internet profile. i really am not sure what to put at all, heck i dont even know what its for, sounds like its IM software or something. saw an earlier post on here that sounded like you can get a java app and run it thru this?? anyway, any info would help, thanks.

Hi EZtips,

Perhaps the following links could help you with the My Friends feature of K750i:

http://www.yamigo.com/

YamiGo is a messenger services for mobile phone.

Hope this help.

i think you were asking me about this, so here goes. first off when you say you "dont have the myfriends feature" are you saying its not working or its none existant in your phones messaging menu? its normally right under your inbox. or are you saying its not working? if its the latter, thats why i am here too. just so you know my firmware is the one with the j in it, i dont have the newest. but i dont think that is the issue. i assume you have an unlocked version? anyway, no i am not capable of getting tzones which sux but doesnt suck at the same time. but i have been on with the "tier 3" tmobile tech support 2x routed to south africa and it just doesnt work at all, not sure why. so i have just gone on tmobiles website and looked at their wap site list and book marked the ones i wanted. plus i use the opera browser anyway if i really need the net. hope that can do something 4 u.

Greetings everyone...

I do not know whether this would be Out of Topic (OOT) or not, but let's make a list of available IM services that are compatible with 'My Friends' feature on SE phones and preferrable the reliable ones.

TIA

My favorite freeware java apps for my K700:

Roar Lauritzsen's Java Calculator. Best java calculator, bar none. HP RPN mode.

Student Calculator. Algebraic calculator, using the same excellent floating point library as above, albeit it has less features.

mDrawer. Database app with DES encryption. Actually the encryption part is not really working. This midlet stores so call encrypted database as plain text. You can see that in Motorola phones for example, where you have access to the file system. But for normal database usage, this app is perfect. Just don't store top secret information in it

The CIA World Factbook for Sony Ericsson (700 and 750) is stunning. Simple, fast, reliable, well finished... but it's all about the content! Learn all about the Kiribati islands on the train to work, or read about the interesting and somewhat worrying world of Turkmenistani politics.

Hard to find without cost though.
