Here is some of them:
Crashes "Kernel error" sometimes when I try to asnwer a phone call.
Crashes "Kernel error" when I try download anything from SE site (ie. pic, clipart, tune)
Camera doesn't work, says "Initializing" forever.. Both open/close mode.
Bluetooth sometimes takes so long to connect to my earpice that the current phonecall is into about 10-15 sec of talktime. (Got an SE original BT headset, among the newest ones)
Sync doesn't transfer all phone numbers in my Outlook 2003. (Got latest version of PC suit software in my pc)
I could go on...

Are you by any chance using any memory management tools? Such as the swiss manager. If not, I recommend getting familiar with it. I had similar issues, but then I started using the swiss manager, and guess what? most of my problems went away. Since than I am much much more happier

If you open a video and let it play whilst its playing close the video application down and you will a significant increase in speed...

Strange, i have almost none of those problems...i use bt everyday, it connects automatically fast, no problems at all (hbh ds970), i have only kernerl errors with agile messenger, camera works everytime (yesterday i took alot of photos at Oporto, has you can see in my photo page), etc
scroituru:
load swiss manager
play some short video clip
go to task manager
choose swiss manager, and notice there is Media Player and Video Player running
Toggle Video Player to avoid auto-termination by Swiss manager
Terminate media player
Youīll end up with Video Player running on RAM, occupying very little memory, and at the same time the menus will fly

I believed its a matter of expectation that we are dealing with here. When you have to spend that much on a smart phone ,anyone would expect to have a decent working phone. Of course, with room for improvement as with any smart phones out there. However, if you realized, many of us are encountering many errors in daily usage. And its real problem. You must be that one lucky guy who got a better working set. I'm sure as we are today, most of us are just hoping, praying what ever you term it for SE to release a more decent fw to solve our pain. Pain that we actualy paid to get it. How crazy. I am one who waited eagerly for this phone for months and got it the first thing it was released. But it was indeed a surprise and a lesson learnt. All i can do now is to wait..and wait..increasing the hit of this specific forum to check if there's any hope in new fw upgrade. If this is going to be SE approach and quality in their phone, then they are really ought to buck up. Ok..so much said..let's all continue to wait on for the day we see the next fw update.hopefully one that make a great differences.

Even with a fixed firmware version, the act of restoring the last backup can potentially destroy the stability of the phone.
This because buggy firmware can create corrupt files and databases that the fixed firware may not be capable of reading.
When you restore the last backup, you may unintentionally be also restoring the crashes to your phone.
Give that a thought ...

I have simialr firmware (my organiser and CDA are R3B01) and I find my phone still hangs a lot
a) sometimes the camera wont come on then i got to reboot
b) sometimes the phone just hangs and no fucntion works. Incoming callers get teh message that the phone is not in service area or as been switched off and get redirected to my voice mail.
Untill I get these licked I am wonder if I can get into WiFi and using the card reader etc...

It is so reassuring reading through all the problems people are having. I was truly beginning to think I was losing my mind. Have been with the P Series from the beginning, but nothing prepared me for the last three weeks as a P990i user. Like many others on this forum I use the phone mainly for work, and I have had the most stressful time as a result. Will do a firmware update today, but am not hopeful. Just dont understand how SE have got away with this. For heavens sake the phone is nearly Ģ500.00 sim free and it just does not work properly simple as that. Wont list all the issues as they have been well covered here. A truly staggering number of bugs to my way of thinking. Found myself in Craphone Whorehouse looking at Nokias on Friday, that is how bad it has been. Please SE sort this ludicrous mess out.
