latest firmware adds psn plus, video editor, and it now shows trophys of your friends. Btw. I recommend transformers, war for cybertron. Its really quite good.

Hello friends. Need your opinions. I never have PlayStation or Xbox. I normally have been playing games on my pc. (right now I’m playing Splinter Cell Conviction with full graphics on 1920x1080 resolutions as smooth as silky). But nowadays I want to test a gaming console but I’m not sure. Should a gaming console gives some extra benefit over the pc graphics? Some friends suggest me to get Xbox360 others PlayStation 3. What is the major difference between normal version of ps3 and slim version of it? If I going for it then what hard disk sizes do you recommend?
Recently I’ve bought 24” benQ monitor which is support HDMI and also came with one HDMI cable. My question is HDMI port/cable only for graphics or both of graphics and sound?

Consoles often offer slightly degraded graphics in comparison to PC games, which can take advantage of graphics cards costing more than a whole PS3 or 360, but I've happily converted from a PC gamer to a console gamer
As to what console you should buy, take a look at the exclusives for each one in turn, give yourself a budget, see what the majority of your friends have, so that you can borrow games from them/play online together, and so on before making your decision, don't let anyone tell you X is better than Y as it's almost purely personal preference!
