iwantin, I totally agree, when it was launched I didn't like the mocha variant at all, but after seeing it (in the flesh - so to speak) its the one I'll be getting.

The mocca brown in real looks lighter than the one at the commercial.. I think the brown colour of k770 truffle brown looks better.. I still prefer the black one.. really matches your phone themes no matter what themes you got..

I got myself a silver W890i a few days ago. No software or hardware problems like the numerous that I was faced with my K850i. I'm glad I got rid of that plasticky, creaky five-hundred-euro-problem! The materials are fine on the W890i. The black one looked better but I opted for the silver since it's the original color of aluminum and scrathes won't show. If you scratch the black-painted one, you get silver color underneath.
The sound is kinda shrilly but I liked the fact that you get two separate speakers, one in the back and the other one in front (actually it is the earpiece acting as an external speaker).
The reception is very good, the HSDPA works very well with the Opera Mini and the battery is adequate for two days of quite heavy usage.
It is needless to point out that the size is extremely convenient considering that the summer is coming!

Hi,
Got fed up waiting for SE to announce a phone that made me really excited so just bought a new w890 on ebay(sim free unbranded) for £145 inc p&p. It looks like a good deal to me. Have I bought a good phone? and is it a good deal? I've had a look at this thread and the comments seem to be mixed.

Stereo MEANS that one channel is reproduced by the rear speaker and the second channel is reproduced by the front speaker...it DOESN'T MEAN loud!
By the way, the ringing volume is quite acceptable in my opinion.

Hello all,
My first post..
I've read the length and breadth of this topic as well searched the forum for information regarding on screen symbols.
I've just bought my black piece..and it "sometimes" gives me 'H" symbol next the network signal strength bar.
Then theres always either a "G" or "E" just above the signal bar.
Its quite intriguing..and I really want to know what it means..strange theres nothing about it in the manual and on the SE site.
All help is greatly appreciated.
Cheers.

That symbol tells you the speed of the network available to you. G - GPRS, E - EDGE, H - HSDPA (fast 3.6 Mbps).
