Oogamus, is the SEUS different from the Software Update built into the phone itself?

When I try to connect it via Sony Ericsson PC companion, it says my phone has the latest software. Just tried nd got the same reply. Should I try anything different?

PC-Companion only checkse every second day. You have to restart it (it runns like a background process on Windows when the GUI is not visible) or reinstall if you can't wait and it should work unless you already have the latest SW.

@ jplacson: Yes, they are different- the SEUS is the software supposed to run on the PC, whereas the Software update built into the phone is supposed to update the firmware Over the air (OTA)

@sampleit: 0.12?? - which region u from?

I just updated my mini pro and now have the 1.1A.0.12. Its a Uk generic handset.

Also the analogue clock is no longer an available widget.

Updated my x10 mini from: 1.0.A.1.36 to: 1.1.A.08 last night.

Spotted the new 'Backup & Restore' app is now included in the menu.
Not sure if its me, but it also seems to respond more quickly and scrolling seems smoother, generally quicker all round i reckon.

Not noticed anything else yet!!!

When you update, does everything on the phone stay exactly the same as it was?
