X Premium, AMAZING
Anything but. Too big + big bezels, old design, little RAM, poor display calibration (as always), mediocre camera (there are first previews of the XPerformance's camera and pictures are awful), stupid price. The worst flagship A.D. 2016 and it's not even out yet.

So the camera is awful... just as I've expected. Well, Sony is making it easy for themselves with this lemon flagship, there are 0 reasons for it to exist alongside everything Sony does in mobile. I wish they keep going as a niche brand where they belong, but I don't hold my breath.

Snapdragon 823, 828 and 830
Cool, so the 823 is a 14nm shrink for 820... good for IFA launch I guess
But, 830 sounds cooler as a 10nm remake with newer CPU & GPU cores , sadly Sony chose Q4 for their flagship meaning they're not targeting the newest Qualcomm SoC, but the upgraded version...
^ Not true. If I recall correctly Xperia Z5 was amongst the first announced to use the 820 chipset, just slightly later in shipping.
At this rate it maybe more beneficial, efficient and cheaper to purchase an efficient robost cpu manufacturing company with great resources and MUST better than standard engineering team and bring it in house to develop their mobile and console chips. This equals to much faster development and no restrictions or policy's to turn over patents and technology output to other competitors.
case in point: Apple owns one such company and:
die shrink has been very competitive along with better performing chips and first mobile 128-bit modern chip. They actually BEAT Qualcomm and others to 64bit mobile chip, quite sad really.

Awe ... too big bezels is makign the little penguino feel a little pingu (small)

LMAO sorry couldn't resist.
Enough of this bezel stupidness ... phones drop, screens STILL crack, shatter and break. Until Corning brings down the manufacturing costs for more ballistic type glass tech they use in other industries - they have it already just cost - then bezels have a proper use case. If no bezel no protection from damage until the glass fully sustains the shock/vibration from the typical and slightly deliberate intent to damage the screen.

Too big? Big bezels? Old design? Little RAM? Poor display calibration? Mediocre camera? Stupid price? If you're referring to the so called X Premium, you realise it's just a RUMOR? It baffles me that you can say such things about a phone that does NOT EXIST. (yet at least)
However, If you are referring to the X Performance, I agree that the price is probably going to be high. But, Design/Bezels subjective and completely personal preference. 3GB RAM on a 5" FHD screen is adequate. Poor display calibration, and you know this how? Have you seen the display in person? (There's no reviews of the X Performance screen, let alone short hands on articles). The only camera samples we've seen are from really early NON retail devices. Don't be so quick to harshly judge a phone that isn't even production ready, there's every chance it will improve in time for its release, or it won't. We'll just have to wait won't we? O, and the X Performance is not the 2016 flagship.
Sorry but I can't stand forum posts like this. Think about things before you post them.

Two trolls (1.penguino and 2.Ebato) return again to make useless comments. Even though the reviewers are impressed with the Xperia X with their hands on time these two can't help but post negative comments here. After Nodar I think its time to banned these two. Always posting useless flaming comments just to get attention.

All Z5 models ship with the
810 chipset. Unless you are referring to the new Xperia X line which was announced back at mwc, along with countless other 820 powered devices. As for slightly later in shipping, 4-5 months later is not slight.
