Star photo from X1. I saw a better one but couldn't find it. But you can't just go up to the roof and take pics of stars. The insta post probably was taken at a site where there's little to no light pollution.
If 2um pixels are real, with rnr I don't know how useful multi frame nr would be. P4 seemed pretty noisy in max yuryev's vid.

Very different from Z series. If you push ISO of Zs to 12800 will give you something to white-blue hue.
Results are no surprise. High ISO shots even from professional cams lose DR and colour accurracy.
Full Frame users rarely use iso above 6400.
IMPORTANT : Xperia that will keep earning security patches are XZ3, XZ2 trio, XA2 trio, L2 and all 2019 lineup.

they will probably be bringing out the PS5 along with their new TVs and other electronics. i'd be surprised if they announce anything mobile related with MWC right around the corner.
i'm all for sony going with a 6 camera device if it pushes innovation. that's what sony used to be good at and they need to get back to that kind of thinking.
hoping 2020 is sony's year!

6 cameras in x1m2 seems too big of a leap. 3 + tof seems a lot more reasonable for Sony. But if they are giving it all this soon then that's good too. It's just hard to believe they can fit that many things in X1 body with just a slight thickness increase.
I guess they will also want to grab the chance to sell during the preparation for Japan Olympic .

Don't expect phones at CES. Midrange reveal would have been fine, or even flagship if it meant they weren't gonna wait until summer to release.
