Just came back from Ericsson Philippines and unlike what happened yesterday, I was treated like how a customer should be treated. DJ was on hand to explain to me what happened showing to me both sides of the picture. We had an exchange of pleasantries and she was very receptive on my suggestions on handling situations to avoid incidents like yesterday. I was hoping to see RG but unfortunately he was not there. The following topics were discussed:

1. How to avoid yesterday's incident. How things could be managed in order to have a harmonious relationship between SonyEric Phil and customers like us. Once tempers are cooled then a constructive discussion could be undertaken and steps could be made to patch things up between the parties concerned.

2. MMS upgrade. SonyEric Phils is dependent on the regional announcement (they have made several in the past). This seems to be an international issue that has to be resolved. Kailangan pa i-test at makasanayan ng Pilipinas ang software ngunit hanggang ngayon ay wala pa silang na-tatanggap.

3. Replacement units. I was able to get mine without waiting though my unit was from the stock of Ericsson Philippines and not the batch which is suppose to come out of customs. For those waiting for their units to be replaced, a lot of patience is required. You can get in touch with DJ who has volunteered to update Esato members of the developments.

stock room of SE ph? what is the difference from the new batch? why are they holding the units at their stock room? gathering dust.

mms software - i dont think there is a need to "get use to it" but, its SE intl call... nothing we can do abt it... not even Sen Noli de Castro.. hehe

case of misunderstanding...

MMS upgrade , I dont wan't to comment on this thing now. I'm so embarassed for what SE Intl had done to all t68m customers!!! We dont even know what are their real plan for us. I know, we should wait until friday, but until now(around the world), no one had receive that sw that will convert their phone sw from t68m->t68i.

@dlreyes, thanks for the update, but

a) they did not answer why nobody from the 'helpdesk' is at their post most of the time
b) they did not answer why the superior tolerates having long lunch with the helpdesk person
c) they did not answer why the superior claims SonyEricsson should not entertain customers directly and complaints should remain in the confines of their service points only
d) they did not explain their behaviour during my incident (buti pa yung mga comedian sa punchline, namatayan na pero nagagawa pang magpatawa)
e) they did not explain why they don't know how to handle customers in general
d) they did not explain the policies, to include, incidents such as when service points do not have replacement units. where will the customer go? what will he do?
f) unforgiveable attitude in the sense that the superior said "he only entertained me because i have a friend at ericsson philippines."

i don't think they have progressed much because they are using DJ as a shield and bagsakan ng sisi when they themselves are at fault

@dlreyes .... nothing has been addressed. they still did not said anything about their poor cs. nor the poor quality of the firmware / hardware they issue. i honestly believe that there is no perfect device. i understand the process it undergoes since i am in that technology. but at least, give their customer a little credit. in a span of 3 months i already had 3 phones. isn't that a little allerting? and the cs. goodness! actually i can not complain about that. how could i, it does not exist!!!

and the combination is simply terrible... a little respect here... we are not dumb!

@ dan47

I guess those who lucky upgraded their unit with software of "i", had a strong connection (friends,relatives,etc...) with Ericsson or SE , whatever....
Paano naman kaming mga simpleng mamamayan. ?
