erm, how to connect PC video calling with V800?? Just a though .. PC dun have mobile connection ( unless using broadband,but it's not a mobile line.. )
confuse.. but mostly cannot video calling between PC and Phone. Video Conferencing is ok between PC and PC.. that's logic..

The pc mobile videocall is a provider's service ; i had to register it on their website (for free), then downloaded a software to make the calls ; The software is just a netmeeting mod, when you launch it it asks for your login/password then netmeeting opens with a new option in the menu "connect to calls control server", but i've never been able to connect to this server..grrr
they gave me a new phone number so that ppl can call my pc and there's also a promo for the first months with a couple of hours offered for pc calls.
The only requirements are a pc, mic, speaker and webcam.
I'm gonna try again, alors note that they mention on the website all ports must be opened for the pc.

Anyone find the shutter capture sound irritating? Its too loud! I suppose this is to stop mis use of the cameras these days, but can u change the sound so that it does a beep instead. It made an annoying loud noise at the tennis event when you want to take a pic that i got told off! Its louder than my digital camera which I forgot to bring with me! Another annoying thing is that although you can take a photo with the phone closed you cant do the same with a video. But apart from that its seems a reasonable phone at the mo. No way as good as my p900 but this is going to be used as my social phone. One funny thing is that with the 3g symbol on i only get 1 bar of signal on but i still get reasonable quality reception, yet without the 3g symbol then this is max strength.This is in Birmingham. Anyone else notice this?

I was under the impression that Vodafone was not planning to release the white or copper ones.
c0mm0n, which provider is this that offers video caling via PC?
As I don't recall seeing that on Voda's site.
