Perhaps, but looking 2.6 inches is hardly conclusive proof that it is 2.6 inches.
From earlier shots, it certainly looked 2.6, but the ones today make it look larger. So who is correct? Besides math being used to show it's 2.8 inches and ares saying it's 2.8, we'll know when the specs are official.

I know, I like just to point out stuff like that.

Plus I'm simultaneously writing a paper and so that plus all the spec weirdness today is making mego a little crazy.

I probably shouldn't be replying to anything.
I'm happy to wait too--since I've been doing that since November. Despite what some people are thinking, I still believe Paris will be the phone I've been waiting for.

well dont get me wrong, paris will cater for 'most' people. 5mp, wifi, gps, uiq 3.3, hsdpa (most likely) not exactly a slouch in terms of specs now is it.
there is better to come though................

Since the P1i was announce May 8, 2007 (a Tuesday), can we expect a year anniversary with the announcement of Paris on May 6?

@Ares,
Thanks for the updated information! Glad to see that Motorola's upcoming Mobile Division seperation will STILL be committed to UIQ platform. Their going to remain in good shape. Litigation charges will be dropped as agreement for the change in the board is already under way - about damn time. CEO Zander is out the door on May 5th (retiring. More like forced). Non-Executive Chairman will be the former AT&T CEO ... the one that overseen the AT&T/Cingular split & remerger so he's very WELL suited for the split of Mobile Division of Motorola.
UIQ looks like it'll actually have a much stronger Future than it did in the past. Now I'm hoping that you'll have a similar "reward" structure for fans with blogs to increase their presence and awareness; like Nokia does for their S60. You cannot buy/beat word of mouth! However I hope internal UIQ Development teams from both Motorola & SE have workshops that'll help existing freelance developers / development teams of company's to get their apps working to perfection (at least the strive for it). You know, to work out serious bugs that have teams deciding NOT to code for UIQ phones. I for one think Motorola's Z8/10's UIQ Smartphone GUI implementation is fantastic although the layout of the menu and options pop-ups needs to have more refinement for efficient and better organization.
Now, will SE have a similar GUI for UIQ Smartphone vs a Professional touch-screen layout?

I guess Nokia is losing their innovation in design. That "Tube" is just straight from iPhone. Thank god Paris has a very small, or even no influence from iPhone.
