Any info about the screen tech that Sony will use for their 2014 Flagship?? Im hoping for OLED or CLED
Since the 4.3" device is delayed for 2014.... so it will use the same exclusive chip set as the 2014 Flagship?

One Sony will be the first "Developed in Japan entirely" Xperia.
Even the phablet was developed partly in Lund, Swden.
Also the 4.3 inch S800 phone has been delayed to 2014. (Also 100% Japanese)

So the software will be 'pure japanese' or a mix of Sweden and Japan?

@Stedus
Dunno about screen yet.
No, it may still use MSM8974 only. As it will be 2014 mid range device
@Kurtdean
Software will be a mix of course. I think Sony won't go 100% Japan for software at least until 2018. And even then it would probably be a bad move. Sweden team is the best at software, so they should let Sweden do the software.

On the software side I don't see why they need to work separately. As long as they both can speak English, they should be able to organize their teams and keep control of the software development with various procedures and whatnot...

When should we expect any announcement for the phablet? Will it be an event in japan for some carrier like with the xperia z tablet or will the intro be at a show?

AFaiK there is no separate show for phablet. Probably just a press release online

For the Honami or One Sony or whatever, how big are the individual pixels?
Like for the Exmor RS 13 megapixel sensors its 1.1micrometers. What is it for the supposedly beastly camera on the Honami.

Between 1.5 microns to 1.9 microns, depending on final max resolution.

I know this isn't strictly rumour related to future Sony devices, but...
There are rumours floating around that Qualcomm skipped the 4.2 sources for the Snapdragon S3 (S, Acro S, Ion, SL) to release the 5.0 (or 4.3) ones.
Anyone can confirm that? If someone could ask ZOMG this I'd be glad. If it is true, that means we might not be able to have a 5.0 (or 4.3) from Sony, but devs could port one Sony ROM from newer devices easier, as we'd have the sources, thus making the ROM more stable...
