I'm sticking with my decision on the w810 at the moment.

@Rhino, although hate is a strong word to use, and i disagree with you on the church thing, i see your point on most of your post.

I'm not a smoker but then again I don't see the point.

I forced my friend to quit smoking as it was getting in the way of our friendship. To the point that he would walk out of th eroom while we were busy just to smoke and "expect" me to follow. But thats only one case.

I have no comment on smoking as it is something I do not understand in my nigh on 30years of life on this planet.

And I believe a wedding is a sacred thing that should be cheriched and held in the highest regard. But I believe society has cheapened the meanings of marriage, love and sex.

Sex is just something that we do now. Like animals. Divorce is rampant (I myself am a victim) and no one really knows what love is because it is no longer necessary.

@Rhino: I have to concur with Siosal...hate is too strong a word to use. I had a couple of girlfriends that smoked and I got on pretty well with them...I just couldn't deal with them smoking in my bed.

@Siosal: Good one.

How many of you with 3G phones have actually bothered making a video call? I'm still waiting to make one.

Non smokers are convinced we're conspiring to blacken their lungs. Sigh. Smokers are not rude - on the contrary, they're much less uptight than non smokers, and very friendly.

@rhino are you suggesting you're marrying your fiancee because she's a non smoker? If you'd divorce her on that basis, i cant see why you'd get married. Smokers probably respect you a whole lot more than it seems you respect them!

I think Rhino's poin is that if smokers have no respect for themselves not the singular body God gave them, how can they thusly have respect for those around them.

Either that or I always have something to say.

@Siosal: I think you've analysed it way too deeply.

Noticed these last couple of years that more and more young black women are smoking whereas there are fewer guys smoking...I'm no Nazi but I sincerely hope Manto and Trevor Manuel conspire to up the price of cigarettes beyond R30 a packet...they could spend the extra income on health.

Seriously though I think people who "harm" themselves like smokers and heavy drinkers(I only drink beer and ciders) should be taxed the heavily.

Everyone has a vice - whether it be caffeine, sleep, exercise, or food. And nicotine's not the worst crutch. I dont think that having a vice makes us disrespectful of others or of ourselves. I think it makes us human.

As a free thinker, you may want to investigate which causes more physical and emotional risk - nicotine or alcohol. You might be surprised by the answer. But i wont dare suggest that it indicates a lack of self respect:-)

Yes. Especially if u want the black market to drain money that could be put to better use if prices were reasonable.

@ psychonymphe, lol, something stronger....not for me...I smoked a few cigarettes when waitering, but I hated it...I usually smoke Rum and Maple, but decided to get expensive stuff for a change...It is so much smoother...sort of the difference between Johnny walker Red and Black...Okay, more like Red and Green, but yeah...Borkum Riff is some good quiet flavour...want to stop soon anyway.

I really can't tell you exactly why i smoke, but I have it down to the fact that I have an overstimulated mind, and I sit outside with the hubbly or these days, the pipe tobacco, just to think, play guitar, compose, watch video clips....My big addiction is more to the habit. I like the smoke...the calming effect it has. The physical addiction is easy to break, it is the mental addiction that is the hard thing to overcome

Anyway, I am frustrated...late friday frustration...

@ Brix, I want to do the video calling thing sometime to try it, but no-one has it enabled or just don't have a phone to do it...it sucks...
