well if there shouldnt be a problem using airtel in south africa can someone tell me how to activate it? i have no idea, asked a few poeple around here and they look at me as though im nuts!!!
Any help would really be Apreciated.
P.s. How do i check if im on international roaming????

@rahul nope i too an gettin the same thing which your friend is gettin and this means that my handset doesn't supports that free gprs trick... The phone asks to quit the data connection. Whereas the other chaps are gettin no server access...(thats the right thing to get for this trick)

I am new at esato but found some brilliant guys here. I have connected to net using Spartan's tech. But i hav got a smal prob. I cannot make pc to pc cals thru Y messenger and unable to
login to Y chat. (freedom is working but its of no use in pc to pc cals). Guys pleeez help. I am from kolkata. Thanx in advance.

n for those who cant dial to multi gprs connection like nokia 3220,6020.....they better use another proxy setting (sorry i dont havsetting) or different access points with different proxies(n sometime without any proxy)... things u will get is only by exploring...no1 will ever feed u by spoon.......
n for those dumbs who hav 6600 n still ask abt the settings sud read alans method
for those who hav other than nokia sets just go to first page of this thread n read the methods o spartan
n for those who r not able to access ymessenger i think the proxy 100.1.200.99 has some problem ..n messenger dont allow to access chat rooms..better use freedom or something
n the news...different access point has different range of ip address n the proxy blocks only a set o address n allows rest o addresss...
i think those who cant help themselves after this on connecting better know how to use thier hand sets...n for who cant connect their pc ..go through the threads or better check their phones functionality...
i may b little rude but this is due to hell at the thread pages n dumb questions...

Hi all.....
I hav noticed a strange problem yesterday....
Untill 8 pm I was using Spartan's GPRS on PC without any
sort of trouble. It got dead then and I reconnected.
It was not connectin properly and I checked accessing the
net on phone. Whenever I say OK to "Connection to server
required" confirmation, my signel meter falls to allmost zero
and it keeps on trying untill i cancel it. I was able to talk
with full clarity on the voice calls I tried but untill late night,
I was not able to connect GPRS and the
"signel lowering phenomenon" continued till then.
I wonder anyone have ssen such a problem before.........
Any Idea ?

It is not unusual for a person to think that he knew from birth what he actually learned just months ago..... but not to this extend......
