my local provider doesn't know when they'll get them, but the lady told me, that it has already been presented to them and they also have a small banner where they use the t650 to advertise their navi, so it shouldn't take long...i hope

I rang CPW about my order with them, they have 5000 of each colour unit in there warehouse and they are programming the software onto them and it should take no longer than 2 week (at very most), thats what the guy said to me on the phone.

A: Everywhere!!! Moto(V3), Nokia(8800), Samsung(D600)....ALL launched in a single colour, then re-launched in more attractive(personal taste) hues to retain market value......even SE have done it before, look at K750i(black, then silver, then red)......
It's no secret, it's a good way to increase model longevity(and fleece that little bit more from the consumers).....
And
Bart says he's already seen a 'limited' colour......anyone want to bet me it's NOT.......

That's pretty much what they've told me too, but the guy said it would be at least one week before they're available, but should be less than 2 weeks. He also pointed out that pre orders from their website or direct phone sales will be dealt with before the stores get stock, so that would be the quickest way of getting one.
What really sucks is the fairly crappy contract options available for 12 month deals. They wanted £40 a month for the 600 mins/500 txt one and you still have to pay £59.99 for the handset on top of that. They did also say you can have it on a contract for £25, but the phone price is £149.99(!) and you get 50 mins and 100 txt. useless basically.
...but you do get to upgrade at 9 months with CPW
and another thing... I got an email from SE today telling me it's available in stores. What exactly is the point of sending this email if it's not true...? Just makes them look stupid.

Quite amazing. I wish it were an option, but the upper one looks like a more likely solution (keeping in line with the green / blue duo).
It would be truly nice to have one of these hypothetical T610 design successors
